Our mission is to demonstrate the love of Christ to those who are disadvantaged, marginalized and/or in conflict with the law. Within this mission, we run several open-custody facilities for young offenders, a family custody program, a practical job training program for individuals having difficulty finding or keeping a job, and a drop-in centre for the homeless which provides food, personal hygiene products, clothing, and other necessities.

ROOF is a front-line resource and counselling centre working with homeless youth between the ages of 12 and 24 in the Kitchener- Waterloo region. ROOF's mandate is to help provide a safe and supportive environment for homeless youth and youth at risk to promote their health, safety and overall well-being. ROOF family of staff and volunteers help young people to navigate the "system", advocate for resources for homeless youth, provide resources to fill their basic survival needs and provide crisis counselling and life skills training to help youth build the strength and skills to move out of the cycle of homelessness. ROOF also actively engages in public awareness raising, runaway prevention and community outreach.
