Provides: temporary shelter for mothers and their children who are experiencing family violence in a safe, caring, confidential environment; educational programming in the areas of safety planning, self-esteem, and family violence for both women and children; referral to community resources; Ladies Healing Circle and Family Healing Circle; and one on one support. Child care is available from 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. during morning programming. Also provides advocacy and transportation as required.

A non-profit community organization that provides emergency and support services to street involved youth aged 16-29. We operate a drop-in center where we offer peer support, referrals, advocacy, a free store (clothing, blankets, shoes etc), outreach, Internet, laundry facilities, food, an on site Public Health Nurse (one afternoon a week), and telephone access for job and housing searches.

Is a safe haven for men. It is the mission of the PA Lodge to provide safe and secure shelter to men, aged 16+ who are homeless, or at risk of becoming homeless. We offer: 12 emergency beds, in 6 rooms for over night accomodations, and 5 rental rooms for 6 men committed to reintergrating into the workforce and the community. In addition to a warm place to sleep we will also offer support in meeting needs: health, addictions, counselling services, and/or referrals, as well as employment and other support.

Provides 24-hour, confidential and professional support to all women and their children who are experiencing physical, emotional and/or sexual abuse, by offering temporary safe, home-like shelter, food, referral, and advocacy services.

A community activist group focusing on housing issues and offering information and referral to residents relying on social services and other community resources, specializing in housing rights, immigration problems, pension and welfare questions and access to health and social services. Offers information, referrals, orientation, interpretation and translation, and assists people who do not have a fixed address to gain access to social assistance.

Provides services for residents of Niagara Falls who are living on or below the poverty line, offering an emergency food program, housing help centre and partnerships with other local initiatives. The programs are designed to create positive, proactive alternatives in order that people can help themselves and their families in times of crisis.

The intervention of the PIPQ in prostitution has the following objectives: help young girls and boys develop alternatives to prostitution; inform and raise awareness of the general population about the causes and consequences of prostitution; and support community workers working with the youth.

Provides legal aid, support group, a transition house and crisis intervention for the mentally ill.
