A drop-in for homeless or working poor individuals, requiring nourishment, support and/or information within a safe environment. Services include: breakfast, lunch, showers, laundry facilities, personal hygiene items, and linkages with health, housing, education and employment services.Goal is to support clients as they move beyond meeting basic needs towards self-sufficiency in the community. Open 8 am to 2 pm Mon. to Fri.

Helps youth gain the confidence, self-esteem, and motivation necessary to begin to address the problems in their lives, and to set goals for the future.

Operates as a forum for the rights and concerns of tenants throughout Kingston. As such we strive to encourage the organization of tenants, increase public awareness regarding current legislation, develop initiatives to combat homelessness, lobby for increased tenant protection, and attempt to empower tenants by means of education.

Provides transitional supportive housing to women and children in abusive homes. Crisis intervention and counselling serives, funding programs and legal assistance.

Residential programs are designed to support the socio-economic integration of youth in difficulty (18 to 30 years old). Initiatives include a shelter, shared apartments with community support, and independent apartments. A second focus of activity, stemming from the reintegration of youth to employment, deals with wider access to and use of information technology.

To provide the best possible services to enrich the lives of the Inuit, Innu, and Metis of Labrador through the provision and implementation of social, cultural, health, educational, employment, and development initiatives. Specific programs include an HIV/AIDS education program, a youth career development centre, and a centre for aboriginal parents and their children.

Provides a safe, alcohol- and drug-free residential environment for men who have completed treatment programs and are ready to integrate into society.
