Empowers at risk street youth by offering youth the opportunity to make positive changes in their lives. Street Connection provides referrals, guidance, support and understanding in a safe, accessible environment. Open Wednesday and Sunday evenings from 5-10pm (serve dinners) and Friday and Saturday evenings from 8:00pm to midnight (serve light meals). Drop-in centre for 16-24 year olds, alcohol and drug addiction counselling, info on safe sex and safe needle use, kitchen, laundry and shower facilities. Someone who listens. Someone who cares. We continue to care when everyone else presumably gives up.

· emergency shelter where women can access counseling and support in meeting their short-term needs;

· drop-in centre where women can receive immediate support, medical attention, meals and hygiene supplies;

· hostel redirect program to help women living at Street Haven hostel find permanent housing;

· case managers who work one-on-one with women with alcohol and drug dependency;

· Joubert House, a home for women with histories of mental illness and homelessness;

· Grant House, a residential treatment program for women with substance-abuse problems; and

· safe, affordable, permanent housing for single women in need.
