We provide HIV/AIDS workshops in First Nations communities in Atlantic Canada and support people and their families who are living with HIV/AIDS.

Provides temporary shelter for homeless men aged 18 and over, for a fee of $6, and assists with social re-integration.

A home for women and children in crisis. We are open 24 hours a day and provide a 24 hour telephone crisis support line. By providing support groups, children's programs, advocacy, education, referral, resources, outreach and support, and promoting awareness and empowerment, we believe we will make a difference.

Is dedicated to assisting in the alleviation of family violence in Aboriginal communities. We currently run four programs offering safe housing, education and healing to the Aboriginal community. The Lodge is a first-stage transition house for abused and battered women and children. Spirit Way is a second-stage supportive housing program for Aboriginal women with children who have suffered domestic violence and abuse. Choices, a bridging pre-employment program, trains Aboriginal women in the areas of education, job readiness, and personal development with on-site counselling and holistic cultural components. Reclaiming our Spirit offers a community healing program for Aboriginal people who are

committed to working toward their wellness.

Provide homeless women and women in difficulty access to a safe environment and offer means to break away from their isolation, psychological distress, and extreme poverty. Herstreet seeks to create a community of belonging and to evoke social solidarity that will result in lasting solutions.
