Officially founded in 1998, the Fonds dédié à l’habitation communautaire, brings together representatives of homelessness organisations in Montreal, and has been working on setting up a housing trust fund for over ten years.

Shares vegetarian food with hungry people and protests war and poverty throughout the Americas, Europe and Australia; an all volunteer organization dedicated to nonviolence.

Services offered include addiction counselling, outreach to youth and families, psycho-social rehabilitation programs for adults living with mental illness, supported employment, emergency shelter, and a program for children who witness abuse.

Provides an emergency women's shelter, affordable housing, food programs, drop-in service, and an employment resource centre offering training and workshops.

A leading advocate for the rights of the poor in Fredericton, it provides numerous services to the community through its Anti-Poverty Distribution and Service Center; these include free clothing, furniture, bedding, food and emergency funding. The FAPO also advocates on behalf of the poor and the marginalized in the justice system, speaks publically on poverty issues, and is represented on many committees and organizations seeking to improve the social condition of the poor.

Provides two meals a day to over 100 people in need in Fredericton.

Our mission is to provide care, support and guidance to children and youth within a safe nurturing, protective environment. We operate community based group homes for adolescents, residential facilities for youth experiencing social, behavioural and/or legal difficulties, an open custody residence for males, and a small crisis unit.
