Our mandate is to provide community-based prevention and intervention services. We operate affordable housing for single parents and low-income families, offer sports and recreation programs to inner-city youth, and provide counselling services to children, adolescents, and families.

Devoted to helping women and female youth who are, who have been, or who may be at risk for coming into conflict with the law.

The Transition House provides safe, transitional housing for women 16 years and older who are, have been, or are at risk of becoming in conflict with the law, as well as women who are homeless.

Offers services and programs to marginalised women, advocates for legislative and administrative reform and offers a forum within which the public may be informed about, and participate in, aspects of the justice system which affect women.

An emergency shelter for abused women (leaving a partner abuse situation) and their children. The shelter also provides telephone crisis counselling, support, advocacy, individual and group counselling, counselling and recreation for children, referrals, ex-resident follow-up and support.

Provides a short-term residence for individuals from the mental health and justice system, offering individual and group counselling and crisis intervention.

Provides shelter and training programs to give youth useful tools to make a progressive transition towards independent living situations.

Provides housing, with 60% of units mandated for women heading single parent families.

Provides shelter and other services for women with mental health problems.

A crisis intervention centre for those with mental health problems.
