4 types d’hébergement différents peuvent être proposés et la durée du séjour varie selon les besoins allant de la première étape soit l’Admission, à l’Accueil de nuit, le Court terme, la Transition et la Maison Yvonne-Maisonneuve.

Our purpose is to:

1. Provide room and board for the mentally ill, the poor, the disadvantaged, the homeless and those who fall through the cracks in society;

2. Provide long term residency, short term emergency shelter, and teach daily living skills;

3. Empower residents to make positive life choices;

4. Encourage community interaction through effective businesses, chapel

and volunteerism;

5. Provide a home that meets the need of our target population.

Inspires and enables all young people, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. Also operates the Survival Centre for Youth, a drop-in centre that provides health care, shower and laundry facilities, community kitchen and job search for at-risk or homeless youth.

Provides food hampers for clients who need them.

A day centre supporting women in difficulty by providing social, educational and practical assistance, such as food and clothing, in a secure and accepting environment.

Operates street outreach services to disenfranchised youth through a drop-in centre. It provides meals, shower facilities and hygiene products as well as counselling, crisis intervention, and referrals for shelter, clothing, employment, and education. Case managers are available for youth or their parents.

A non-profit, non-political organization that seeks to address the link between abuse and homelessness. We provide support to agencies that provide a direct service to women, children and youth in crisis.

Attends to the emotional impact of separation from families, manages children's plans of care, and plans for family contact and eventual reunification in short-term. In long term, carries out the Society's parenting role and responsibilities.

Community-based supported housing program working with 45 youth living independently in the community. CFY is constructing and will operate a multi-agency youth services centre, co-located with a shelter for young males in downtown St. John’s. Opening in winter 2004, the centre will operate through a partnership model, focusing on the needs of youth 12 to 29.
