Provides rent-geared-to-income housing for youth; free employment services to target population; develops life skills, develops a safety network of supports, and reintegrates residents into the community.

Helps young people access what they need to find long-term housing and an adequate source of income; offers former residents continuing support so that they may maintain independent living in the community.

To support vulnerable youth in making positive life choices. Vision includes: identifying and reducing barriers to self-sufficiency, healthy sustenance, and constructive behaviour; offering youth responsive and accessible services that help youth help themselves; and respecting youth’s rights while emphasizing responsibility.

Links families, communities and the housing industry with programs and services that work to support the housing needs of Yukoners. Our programs include administering rent-subsidized units and non-profit social housing, morgage and construction financing, and offering financial and technical assistance for home repairs and upgrades.

Offers affordable and secure community living to women. The Social Reintegration Program gives women in difficulty the necessary support to help them assert themselves and recover their autonomy so as to improve their quality of life on both an economic and social level.

Offers two separate live-in facilities. The YWCA Residence is a coed transitional housing facility where supervised care is given to a wide variety of clients including mental health clients, corrections clients, transients, the unemployed, and persons recovering from addictions. The Westman Women's Shelter is an emergency shelter for abused women and children, which also provides counselling, follow-up support, public education, and a 24 hour crisis line.
