Promotes the economic well-being of the Inuit of northern Québec through management of compensation from the James Bay and Northern Quebec Agreement. This includes the construction of social housing units and marine infrastructure, assistance in funding local development projects, and help for native Inuktitut speakers filling out tax forms.

Helps Manitobans have access to adequate and affordable housing. A range of programs and services are available, including subsidized housing managed by the Manitoba Housing Authority, the Rent Supplement Program, rural and native housing, support for non-profit housing co-operatives, and grants and loans for home repairs.

Provides quality care and services across the province of Alberta. Our programs and services are offered based upon local community issues, needs, and capacities. Among our programs and services across the province are: supports for people with disabilities, family support, counselling, foster care, parented care, group home care, supported independent living, and day care.

Our mandate is to provide a short term, safe and supportive environment for battered women and children or women in crisis and to provide an opportunity to learn of services and alternatives for these women and their families to facilitate decisions about their future. In addition to shelter, we offer child care, support groups for women and children, and individual counselling by appointment.

Administers the Rural and Native Housing Program, which is intended to provide affordable, safe and adequate homes for families with low incomes and living in small rural communities. MNO manages 646 housing units, as well as providing a program of loans and emergency grants for necessary home repairs.
